Solutions · Solar Control & Energy Performance

Cut solar heat gain without replacing a single pane.

Solar control films for existing commercial and government glazing: cooler perimeter zones, less glare and better-performing glass, specified across multiple manufacturers and installed with minimal disruption to occupants.

The problem

When the glass is the problem.

South- and west-facing rooms that overheat by mid-afternoon. Tenants complaining about hot and cold spots. Blinds closed all year. Cooling equipment working hardest on the sunniest days. Replacing glazing fixes it, at a cost and disruption that rarely makes sense for glass that is otherwise sound.

The outcome

What solar control film changes.

01

More comfortable perimeter space.

Less solar heat coming through the glass.

02

Lower solar load on cooling.

Actual savings depend on the building; we don't quote savings we haven't modelled or measured.

03

Daylight without the glare.

Films chosen by visible light transmission, so you control how much light comes in.

04

Year-round options.

Low-e films also reduce heat loss through glass in winter.

05

UV protection.

Slows fading of finishes.

06

A facade that still looks right.

Neutral, spectrally selective and low-reflectance options.

Pricing structured to your bid form

How pricing works

Why we price the job, not just the square foot.

Two buildings with the same glass area can price very differently. Every proposal accounts for film type, glass type and pane sizes, floor heights and access equipment, phased work, removal of old film and site requirements. Upload drawings or elevations and we can return budget pricing before a site visit, then firm it up after the survey.

FAQ

Straight answers before you call.

Will film void my window warranty?

It can, depending on the glass and the window maker's terms. We check glass type and compatibility first, and film manufacturers offer warranty programs on approved applications.

Can you work in an occupied building?

Yes. We phase work by floor or zone.

Is it worth it compared with new glazing?

For sound glass, film is usually far less disruptive. If the glass itself is the real problem, we'll tell you.

Do you do houses or small storefronts?

No. We focus on larger commercial and government projects.
